Q + A

What is the ceremony dress code?

Cocktail Attire

Washington weather is a bit unpredictable, as we all know. Temperatures can range from 40 to 70 degrees with potential for rain or sunshine. We recommend dressing in layers, including a sweater or light weight jacket for the evening. The ceremony will take place at Creaky Tree Meadow, which is a combination of grass and forest floor. We encourage you to wear appropriate footwear for this terrain, such as wedges, flats, or block heels.

Can I bring a guest?

Due to limited capacity, we ask that only those named on the invitation attend the wedding. Your online RSVP will include the names of all those included in your invitation. If you are unsure if you have a +1, please reach out to us. We may or may not be able to accommodate additional guests depending on RVSPs.

Are children allowed?

In order to give all our guests the opportunity to enjoy the night without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to celebrate in style!

No children will be allowed apart from those in the wedding party.

We know many guests may want to travel with their families after the wedding. If you absolutely need to bring your children, please reach out to us first. regarding lodging, meals, and babysitting services. There is limited on site lodging, and we recommend considering off-site lodging for those with children.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The ceremony is a 5 to 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Please arrive NO LATER than 4:00 p.m. to allow for parking and finding a seat. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Can I take Photos/video?

The only request we have is that you please put your phones away during the CEREMONY. We have hired a wonderful photographer & videographer who will capture our ceremony and we would love for you to be present for the moment when we say "I Do". Once we walk out and the party begins then please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!
